నమస్కారం, wasted lot of time for creating web manifest. its part of PWA [ 1 ] aka progressive web app. i was furious when i learnt about hard coded dependence on js.[ 2 ] what can i say? for some reason <body> html was not updated at all in most of the files and couple of files with </body> only. prompltly added it. it was painful to create patches manually. in day or two i will research alternatives.
